My wife and my sister (nursing student, Advanced Practice: lots of credentials between the pair of them) have conferred, and decided I would be best served by a brand-new right hip.
I have to agree. My hip hurts all the time, so it’s a quality of life issue. Maybe the rest of my body would feel better if I could, oh, shamble across the living room without pain.
Patty and Alice know what they’re talking about. I have confidence in them. I trust them. And I’ve known people who had hip replacements and were mighty glad they did.
And now it’s getting really hot outside, so I think I’ll have my cigar early.
They say that hip replacements are very successful and make for a real improvement in quality of living.
I sure hope so!
A lot of success stories with hip replacements.
Another doctor to sign in with? But, I understand – I hobble with a bad knee.
Well, I couldn’t find a DIY hip replacement, could I?
One of my brothers got both hips replaced, years ago. The doctors didn’t want to do it, because he was “only” in his 50s, and it would need to be redone in 10 years (I think technology has improved since then). The improvement in quality of life was amazing. I do hope you’re able to get it done!
We’re gonna try to get that done as soon as we can.
My friend my age has had both hips replaced and she is doing great. Runs a fireworks stand and referees girls volleyball tournaments.
I’ll settle for one.
