How Am I Doing?

What I wouldn’t give to have one of my cats in bed with me!

People do ask how I’m doing–friends and readers, at least. And I reckon you deserve to know. The short answer is, “Not too well, kimosabe. Not too well at all.”

I’m not going to recite a list of symptoms. Just take my word for it: I’ve got a lot of symptoms. All sorts of ’em. Some are very painful. Some are just plain frustrating. I came very near today to falling asleep in my chair, watching TV. That could’ve turned out jim-dandy.

Yes, I need your prayers and am very thankful when I get them.

  1. Cats make everything better. I’m always surprised by how important bedtime is to my cat. She may snooze next to me all day, but when I get ready for bed, she knows and wants to be right there to stake her claim … to the spot exactly in the center of my bed. 🙂

Just know that there are a lot of people pulling for you, and praying. No matter what, we are all safe in God’s hands.

  2. Every day praying for you. Keep confessing God’s promises of healing in His Word. We are to live by faith not by sight. Jesus is the Morning Star – fix your eyes on Him, our Savior.

  3. Maybe it is time for you to get another cat. They do seem to make everything easier to deal with. Prayers daily.
