Elvis didn’t like being referred to as the King of Rock n’ Roll. To him, there was one King, and it wasn’t him. I’ve heard that between takes in the recording studio, he liked to sit down at the piano and sing hymns. He may not have been the model of Christian living, in some areas of his life, but I tend to think that at least his faith was sincere.
