All right, we know cats are not able to grasp such an abstract concept as Thanksgiving. Or rather, we think we know that. But that doesn’t mean they can’t feel love or gratitude–ask anyone who’s ever lived with a cat.
I’m only posting this video because I thought it rather sweet and soothing.
P.S.–I never knew the name of this lovely piece of music, until now. It’s Canon in D Major, by Johann Pachelbel. Live and learn.

WELL…THEY MAY WANT TO GIVE THANKS, TOO!!!!
Beautiful cats. I love them all, and enjoy watching all the action. I sure miss my beautiful siamese.
The little stray I rescued, years ago, was definitely thankful. I don’t think that I ever felt such a degree of devotion as I did during the years she was with me, and she wasn’t demanding, at all. She had lived on her own, outdoors, and appreciated the value of a home and food that she didn’t have to catch.
They are truly grateful and they also know who loves. them.
It was an amazing experience. I never had such a devoted pet.
I was my Peep’s world. I know what you mean.
I had several visitors to my house tell me that little cat absolutely loved me, and I believe it. She knew my routine, that I had to go to work in the morning, about when I’d be home, etc. She accommodated that routine, but expected me to say goodbye before I left for the day. It was important to her. It was important to me, too.
It breaks my heart.
I can relate.
Thank you for posting this. I have had many cat friends as part of my family throughout the years. They have all been rescue cats.
I miss my cats terribly right now.
