I knew that there was such a thing as a Wombat, but until this video, that was all I knew about them. Interesting and somewhat charming creatures.

Why does Australia have so many marsupials? I know we have them here too, but not in such preponderance.
Australia is such a unique place. I think they also have the largest number of poisonous species (generally) also.
Living in a place that is nearly the antipode of western Australia, I can relate. Everything around here is trying to kill you. But some of the stuff in Australia makes our local venomous creatures look like pikers.
Yes!! There are plants in Australia you shouldn’t even walk close to.
It’s a pretty crazy place. Some beautiful spots, but some very dangerous places.
