That’s cute. I see why they are called laughing hyenas. It’s amazing how attached animals can become to the people in their lives.
Unexpected ones, too.
It’s true. We hear of wild animals that seem to seek the company of humans. I ran into a friendly porcupine once. The little guy seemed very curious about me.
I bet you weren’t too curious about him.
He was ok, as long as I moved slowly and spoke gently. He was genuinely curious about me and was in no hurry to disengage. Just a harmless little creature, so long as you didn’t try to grab it.
That is just too cool. I would have loved to have that experience.
