There are few things cuter than a baby pig. You could definitely see this little one respond to having companionship.
Another lesson taught by animals. Companionship is good.
We need it. There have been a couple of notorious crimes, of late, where the perpetrator has ended up in prison, essentially in solitary confinement. Thinking especially of that guy that confessed to murdering four college students, in Idaho. He’s allowed out of his cell for occasional exercise, basically locked up in a chain link cage, and has no social interaction, beyond what is shouted between cells. IMO, his fate is worse than the death penalty. I don’t have a microgram of sympathy for him, but I can only imagine that his life must be horrendous.
