Well, boys and girls, I hope I put enough happy and entertaining things in your stockings today.
It is a lovely sunny day here, but quite cold. We are due for more snow in the next few days.
I want to wish everybody a blessed, joyful and merry Christmas.
Saying that today is a habit for me as we always had our dinner on Christmas Eve and exchanged our gifts after our post dinner nap. I think it is a German custom. Things weren’t as bad as I thought they might be because, as I’ve said before, we weren’t able to do Christmas last year either. Lee had just gotten out of the nursing home and it was too much for both of us.
I need more time to heal before even thinking of putting up a tree (for which I would need help). Maybe next year. It would be far
too painful right now.
Anyway have a wonderful time, whatever you do, and I will catch you tomorrow.
God bless everybody.
Patty
What is this Sun of which you speak? Quite uncharacteristically for Arizona, it has been cloudy and cool all day, with just enough rain to keep me indoors, but not enough rain to make the grass grow. 🙂
This is a good night to watch an old movie.
You are having a taste of New Jersey weather.
Still like that, this morning.
I think you may be in for some weather.
By Arizona standards, we are there. Very light, but very persistent rain. I could really use a good downpour, right about now.
I am a little concerned about the snow expected here tomorrow afternoon and overnight into Saturday.
Snow?! It’s 65 degrees, there can’t be any snow. 🙂
Try 12 degrees with the wind chill this morning. Walking to the bank, just from my car, I was freezing.
Hence the reason I moved west, long ago. 🙂 Even before I read your post, I had been thinking that I pretty much have to live in a place where the skies are usually blue.
This is supposed to be quite a storm starting late this afternoon and overnight. As long as there is no power failure I am not worried.
Stay warm.
I’ll try.
One day at a time.
