Today was the typical mixed bag.
It did start out quite nice, sunny and bright, but very, very cold.
Around 2 o’clock the clouds rolled in and now they are predicting snow showers for tonight.
Didn’t accomplish much, but I hadn’t planned on too much today. I put on a few extra posts today to be a bit festive for the New Year.
Please stay safe and warm.
Happy New Year.
God bless everybody,
Patty
It was mostly quiet, out here in the sticks, but someone decided that we needed fireworks, which is not a good idea in the desert. (What goes up, must come down, and you don’t want hot stuff hitting dry vegetation.) Fortunately, we had a rare drizzle last night, so no problems.
Thank heaven for that. The fireworks used to upset our cats pretty much, but the celebrations got smaller and our cats got used to it.
I’ve had cats who were terrified whenever there were fireworks. Where I live, fireworks are a real danger. Independence Day and New Year’s Efe tend to be very dry times of the year. The fore risk is real.
It is also very upsetting to a lot of pets. Some can run away from fear.
Agreed. Animals suffer from a lot of what people do.
