That’s sweet.
Our neighbor years ago looked after some feral cats. We all chipped in to have them altered and they all got adopted. One kitten Peanut was a lovely black and gray tiger who was one third the size of his litter mates. He was adopted and totally adorable.
I got a wonderful cat because I got a feral cat, in a very bad situation spayed. I ended up keeping her for ten years.
That’s the way it should be.
It was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. She was the most affectionate and devoted animal I’ve ever seen.
Both you and she were blessed.
I agree. I don’t know that I have ever felt that level of devotion in any other situation.
