Truthfully, the stress and worry about that storm yesterday left me pretty tired out today.
That’s why I mostly stayed away from heavy-duty topics. I just wanted some cozy, cuddly animals (sanity medicine).
We are not done yet–we are anticipating another storm by the end of the week. We are also into some insanely low temperatures (for New Jersey)–single digits for most of the week at night. How does 1 degree grab you?
My neighbor (bless him) will dig out my car after he does his car and his wife’s car. It won’t be for awhile because the snow is quite deep–10-11 inches. That will take some time.
This is the worst winter I have seen in many years. And we’re still in January. There were a number of years when we had no real snow at all.
Tomorrow I will see about arranging a grocery delivery. Those should be up and running by then.
I hope you all had minimal impact from the storm.
God bless everybody.
Patty
Wow! That’s some storm you had. I managed to sweep all the snow and ice off my pickup truck today as the sun is shining once again. It was mighty cold out, but I was bundled up with a heavy coat, wool cap and staunch gloves. I am getting a lot of reading done which I enjoy immensely.
It will take a while to clear up here.
The weather later in the week shouldn’t be nearly as bad, at least according to the long range forecasts I’ve seen. No cause for complaint, here. Some welcome rain and slightly nippy temps, bit nothing to get worried about.
