Much of today was spent on “diddly stuff”. Stuff that takes time, but doesn’t really show–you know–new batteries in the bathroom scale, organizing files, an attempt at reconciling my bank statement, etc.
At least it was bright and sunny (still pretty cold, though).
Tomorrow I am going to go online to a couple of sites where I will try to sell some of our board games. Some are in excellent condition, and from what I have heard, are worth something. I would rather do that than just give them away or toss them. I have not done e-bay as that seems to be something that could end up as a full time job and I am not ready for that yet.
Have a good night.
God bless everybody.
Patty
You are wise to avoid eBay, IMHO. It has become a cesspool compared to what it once was. One of the favorite tactics is for a buyer to accept delivery, then make a dubious claim that the item was damaged or not as described and then demanding a partial (or even complete) refund, under threat of a negative review.
That sounds really lousy. I would be very concerned about that.
I makes eBay far less desirable.
It’s stress-relieving to check those kinds of tasks off the to-do list. Like a “monkey off my back”.
You are so right, Michele–just to see a task disappear is priceless.
