This morning I woke up to some snow. Not a lot, however. There’s still so much snow on the ground that it just sort of blended in and gave it a nice clean look.
The most important thing I did today was to get my car in the shop for inspection. When I made a sneak run to the store yesterday I was really worried about being pulled over. By now the the ticket for a bum inspection sticker is probably over a hundred bucks. It used to be $25.00.
That’s a load off my mind.
One of the hardest living adjustments I have had to make is learning to cook for one. There are certain things I just don’t make anymore. For the longest time I would end up making too much of something and tossing things out, and that’s not good. Lee had always had a hearty appetite and was a joy to cook for. Even though he was quite picky about what he liked–no cheese, no tomatoes, for example –he ate a lot of what he did like.
I miss him so much.
Well, I am going to make my supper now.
Have a good night, all.
God bless everybody.

This is Snoopy, my daughter’s other dog. I will tell you about him tomorrow.

Cooking for one is a real challenge. I tend towards simplicity when I cook, and always have, but to this day, my favorite thing to cook is cooking up an excuse to buy something for lunch.
Congrats on the successful vehicle inspection.
Thanks, but I don’t know if it passed yet.
Let’s hope ir all goes well.
