As I sit here on a gray and gloomy day, I can take comfort in seeing my little car sitting happily in the parking lot. My neighbor took me to pick it up earlier. No problems, inspection passed and all good.
I did have an experience a little while ago, however, that was new to me. I think it may have been an anxiety attack. I had a fast heartbeat (which I do not usually have) and a burning feeling in my chest–not like indigestion, or heartburn or anything like that. Imagine how your chest would feel if you stood in front of a blast furnace, opened the door and took a deep breath. Needless to say, I sat down with a glass of cold water and did some praying and attempted to relax. That is a new one on me, and something I want absolutely no part of.
The ants have suddenly diminished greatly. I guess the Terra does need some time to work. If this kind of reduction keeps up, I won’t have a problem at all in a few days.
Another odd thing, I may have mentioned. There seems to be a major shortage of lamb, at least around here. Whole foods has not hat had any but the stew meat in Cryovac, which I do not care for. Ditto Shop Rite. When I investigated online I was told that due to drought in the Southwest, the herds are at their smallest in 25 years, but that does not explain the lack of New Zealand lamb. Is anybody else having this problem, or is it just the New York metropolitan area?
It is five months today since Lee passed away. In some ways it seems like yesterday, and in other ways like a long time ago.
I am not sure what I will tackle tomorrow. There’s more than enough here to keep me busy forever.
Catch you tomorrow
God bless everybody
Patty
Glad you got your wheels back, hard to be without transportation. Hoping tomorrow will be a nice productive day for you!
I am so glad to have my car back& thanks for the good wishes for tomorrow!
Could be an anxiety attack, but if it happens again, I’d check with a Doc’. I went through something like that, many years ago, in a time of stress.
As to the lamb issue; no idea. According to what I’ve heard, there is a drought in the SW, but you couldn’t prove it by me. It’s been cooler and wetter around here.
I know just what you mean about such events seeming like yesterday, but also seeming like a long time ago. I guess that’s how we are made.
The number of sheep in New Zealand has dropped to 23 million from its peak of over 70 million. Farmers continue to be paid for converting cattle and sheep land into pine forests so carbon credits can be gained under New Zealand’s Climate Change emissions trading scheme. There are other factors involved.
Oh for Pete’s sake. The climate change crap again. We can all sit down to a nice supper of grilled carbon credits.. Yikes.
Just shaking my head.
It is unbelievable.
Like so many things in our day.
This global warming credit system will be the death of us. This makes no sense.
💔 😥 wow if I hadn’t read this post I would have thought Lee was alive and recovering. I’m gonna miss him so much. 😢 God’s continual comfort and healing in Jesus name. ❤️
Tammy, thank you so much for your comment. I intend to keep this blog alive with stories, comments and reprints of his articles. There is a ton of material, so I have a lot to choose from. Prayers and blessing to you.
