… and I thought I was stunned before. Well, I’ve heard of people making peace with Mojave Rattlers, so I guess this is possible. As for me; well it’s always good to know ahead of time what nightmares you will awaken from. 🙂
He’s a lot braver than I am.
Me too. I’ve been within a foot of a rattlesnake, but he was stretched out and I was not within strike range, so I was about as safe as you can be, that close to a rattler. But, as a general rule, I keep a lot of distance between them and myself. If I see one, I try to stay relatively distant and if they move in my direction, I move farther away. It is important to note that, as a rule, they are not aggressive, unless you make them feel threatened.
