So perfect. Cats sure know how to get their way.
I had some pork today. My cat goes mad at the prospect of pork. If I want to eat in peace, i have to lock her in the master bedroom, complete with food, water and a litter box. She wails and complains the whole time.
But she’s smart, and she knows that I always give her a tiny sample, so the microsecond I open the door, she pulls the door open and rushes to my favorite chair, where her sample is usually waiting on an end table. She grabs a piece of the pork and heads for the floor, gobbling it fast, as if there were a pack of hyenas waiting to take her treasure away. I usually give her three tiny pieces of pork, in hope that will satisfy her. It never does. As soon as she finishes, she casts about, searching for more. This is a cat that has never known hunger, and gets all the premium cat food she want, but she NEEDS that pork, and she’s not shy about making sire I know that. 🙂
Pork is high in Vitamin b1, so she’s giving herself a treat. She can always say her pork is for medicinal purposes.
Vitamin B1 is essential for sassiness, so she needs a lot of it.
