That’s the gift a cat gives. They have a life of their own, and just their presence makes our life richer. Sometimes, I’ll be out working in the yard, and notice my cat watching from the window. Sometimes I’ll play a musical instrument and she watches. She knows that my hands control the sounds she hears. I played Eine Kleine Nachtmusik on an electric bass tonight, and she seemed to like it. That’s all she needs to do; just let me know that she’e there, and that she’s aware.
My surgeon played that in the OR when I had my surgery years ago. The big light came on, the music started and out I went.
Good musical choice.
