After last night’s fiasco, I’m surprised I made it through the day.
Did very little, and managed to stay awake all day. I really don’t want to mess up my sleep schedule, so I avoid napping.
Please everyone have a happy and safe 4th of July–do your picnics, cook-outs or whatever your pleasure is–just have a really good time. America is a very special country and her birthday should be celebrated.
If you get a chance, please see Byron’s post today–he is eating a leaf with great relish and because it was not announced it got zero views. He is a darling fellow.

Today was a rest day for me. I’ve been hitting it pretty hard lately, 8.25 mile bike rides daily, plus helping out a friend with some outdoor work. Today, I went into the city and bought my favorite breakfast, checked out a couple things at my buddy’s place, then came home and did nothing. I deserved it. 🙂
Bet you had huevos rancheros.
