As cats age, they seem to learn and they definitely make their opinions known. I feed my cat a Churu treat, once per day. She starts reminding me about her treat time in mid morning, and if I don’t come through by mid afternoon, she lets me know that I am in danger of being weighed in the scales and found to be wanting. 🙂 I love the routine she provides.
They will give you a routine. And you better stick to it.
Today was a busy day, with a lot going on. In the late afternoon I was walking past the couch where she was lying, and she uttered several polite meows, just as a gentle reminder that I had not yet given her today’s Churu. She wasn’t angry or insistent, but she just wanted to remind me that I had forgotten something important. She can be amazingly polite.
Cats are extremely civilized.
If you were to ask one, it would tell you that they invented civilization. 🙂
They sure would
My cat keeps me civilized. 🙂
