He really was a perfect gentleman, even though that process had to be confusing and possibly frightening to the little guy. I’ve noticed that cats sometimes act like they are tolerating less intelligent species, when around dogs, or when humans do something they don’t like.
Matted fur is a real problem. My Siamese would probably be considered a Balinese if the breed standards were strictly applied, which is to say that she has a medium coat. Of late, I have had to brush her frequently, and there are always small tangles trying to form.
