Cat rescued from really high tree

This is very short, but it describes a very common problem with cats who are let outdoors. They can get up, but they can’t get down.

That was scary to even watch. Heights and I do not get along. I put my cat in a harness whenever I take her outside, and this is one reason for that.

  Same here. I saw a cat that had climbed a lift pole for the meter loop leading to a house. The important part of that was that these were insulated wires, but the cat was on top of the pole. The Lineman used a fiberglass extend-o stick to knock the cat off the pole, and it fell 30’, with zero harm. One of the guys picked it up and it was purring, within minutes.
