I ran out to do an errand which should have taken me 10 minutes. I was gone for about an hour and a half, most of which was spent sitting in gridlock. School is not back in session yet, but evidently there was a huge conference at the school (which is very close to my house). This entire borough was one big parking lot. It extended to downtown as well. They are doing work to some of the roads, so there are many detours all over town as well. It was atrocious. I saw a couple examples of horrible driving. I mean, dangerous. People get impatient and then it’s hey world get out of my way.
I probably missed the landlord’s call about the exterminator. If I don’t hear from him I will have to start pulling his coat.
I am totally and completely out of gas–again.
I still have not solved the problem of REPRINT posts. When I do a reprint of one of Lee’s older posts, it does not send the email to the recipients, so it is not seen unless someone happens to go to the actual blog to see it.
Life can be really complicated sometimes.
Tomorrow I have nothing on the docket except a quick run to Whole Foods to drop off an Amazon return, so I can devote more time to the blog tomorrow.
Have a good night, all.
See you tomorrow.
God bless everybody.
Patty
I hate when such things happen, and traffic is all balled up like that. If you go east out of Tucson, there is basically one road; the Interstate. No secondary roads to speak of and a road closure can require a detour that would add easily an hour of extra drive time. Even worse, there are no plans to improve the situation.
No idea on the reprints, except that you could add a link to the reprint in another post.
They are destroying the whole character of this town.
