Poor little kitty! So glad they could help him. As to feral, one of the most loving pets I ever had wouldn’t let me within 20 feet, for nearly a year. Then, after feeding her, she jumped into my lap and was a daily part of my family for over 10 years.
Animals know how to love. It’s wired in them.
I wish that people would remember that.
