1. What a little gentleman. Obviously a very sweet cat. Interestingly, my cat rarely does the kneading thing. She was kept with her mother until one day short of ten weeks of age, and I think that kneading is a kittenish behavior that she left behind, during those ten weeks. She kneads on rare occasion, but really, not often at all.

   1. That habit varies from cat to cat. I know it dates back to their kitten days when they would do it to make the milk flow faster when they were nursing.

   2. The cat I used to have did it continually. I think she was taken from her mother at a very young age.
