Some funnies to lighten up your day.

  1. Those were great. I especially liked the busybody with the divorce lawyer being put in her place. I also liked the grass wreath story. Both involved people with too much time on their hands. As you might conclude, I disdain busybodies. I’d say more, but I think my neighbor is up to something, and I need to find my binoculars. 🙂

    1. Busybodies and gossipers do an awful lot of harm. We had a woman in this neighborhood who would go from one person to another, starting strife. The whole neighborhood was thrilled when she moved.

  2. Look at what the book of Romans has to say about gossipers, and what other acts gossip is grouped with.

    English Standard Version

Rom 1:28 And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. 29 They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32 Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.

Gossips and slanderers are grouped in with murder, deceit and even haters of God. Note what verse 32 says they deserve.

    1. I know a person whom has played a role in breaking up several marriages because of gossip and slander. She considers herself a model Christian, but I see this as an abomination.
