Once upon a time and long ago, a king got sick and tired of his court jester’s tired, corny, boring jokes.
So he built a gallows and summoned the jester. “See that gallows?” said the king. “If your next joke doesn’t make me laugh, you’ll be hanged!”
The jester let out a sigh. “No noose is good news!” he said.
So they hanged him.
