German Cops Bust Teen… For Posting Smurf Video (?!)

Holy moly! Smurf Scandal!

German police recently marched into a high school and arrested a 16-year-old student–for posting a Smurf video (!) with a political message (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/03/german-police-go-full-gestapo-as-16-year/). Three cops had the girl pulled out of class and hauled off to the station. Yes, I said three.

What were they afraid of? What had this high school kid done to menace The State?

Well, she expressed her support for the AfD Party (“Alternative for Germany”), accused of “Euro-skepticism” (ooh!) and opposing immigration: which, in the state’s view–although it is not illegal to agree with the AfD, or to support its positions–equals “incitement of hatred” and  “anti-constitutionalism.” Oh–and “too much national pride.”

That slurping sound in the background is American Democrats licking their lips for envy.

The girl was not charged with any crime, possibly because she hadn’t committed one. No, said officials, this was just “a preventive measure.” Also known as intimidation. Other kids’ll think twice now before they post any Smurf videos! Or express sympathy for any political party that The State doesn’t like.

Coming soon to a country near you–“Preventive Measures.”
