You see how late I’m running today. Well, I had a bad night. Here’s the one nightmare I remember.
I dreamt I was a reporter again, back with The Bayshore Independent (sigh!); and my assignment was to cover a Biden rally at our local high school. We never had a president visit our town before: big nooze!
As it turned out, they only needed one classroom for the whole rally. Maybe two dozen people were there, a dozen of whom were reporters. Biden was there, but he didn’t seem to know it. He mumbled a lot. It was worse than a town council meeting in which people argued vehemently about new rules for the municipal swim club.
This was the president of the United States. A babbler. Leader o’ the Free World. A walking piece of corrupt wreckage.
(Dude, get outta my dreams! You are not invited!)
