Bonus Hymn, ‘My Song is Love Unknown’

Let us edify ourselves with another hymn suggested by our friend Dave, “thewhiterabbit”–My Song is Love Unknown, written in 1664 by Samuel Crossman, performed here by the choir at King’s College, Cambridge. Thank you, Dave.

‘Angels from the Realms of Glory’

Well, they’ve taken down the Creche across the street, so I guess that means Christmas is over. It makes me a little sad to see it go; but if it didn’t, then we’d take it for granted and it would have no impact.

Even so, one more Christmas hymn–Angels from the Realms of Glory, sung by the King’s College Choir, at Cambridge.

‘The Church’s One Foundation’

Patty heard a few bars of this in a movie yesterday and asked me what hymn they were singing. It took me a while, but it finally came to me: The Church’s One Foundation–which is, of course, Jesus Christ Our Lord. Here we have it sung by the choir of King’s College, Cambridge.

‘Ding Dong Merrily on High’

Turn up the volume on this one–Ding Dong Merrily on High, sung by the Kings College Choir at Cambridge, Class of 1983.

I wonder if I can find this with a harpsichord. I love this carol played on a harpsichord!

Hey, everybody–I’m all caught up on your hymn requests, so I need some more. Let’s proclaim Christmas!
