Ready for some good news, for a change?
NFL player K.J. Osborn (Minnesota Vikings) was riding with a Uber driver when they saw another car crash into a concrete overpass piling and burst into flame.
Osborn, the Uber driver, and two passersby rushed to the rescue and pulled the injured driver out of his car before the flames could reach him (https://www.breitbart.com/health/2023/03/07/photos-vikings-player-helps-save-man-trapped-burning-car-god-right-place-right-time/). “God put us in the right place at the right time,” Osborn said. An ambulance arrived and took the injured driver to the hospital. He’s going to be all right.
This was heroism, nothing less. They had every reason to fear the car would blow up while they were getting the driver out, but they acted regardless. Four passing strangers saved a man’s life.
Thanks be to God.
