Snoopy’s Story

A little over two years ago, my daughter was considering getting another dog to be a companion to Boo, her pittie.  She saw a notice on Instagram about a dog named Albert who needed a foster home ASAP.  He had been in a shelter for over a year, and because he was so quiet and mellow they assumed he was  a senior.  Actually he was a couple of years younger than they thought.  Georgia brought him home and he had some socializing with Boo that went really well.  The bottom line was–they never fostered him, they adopted him.

He is possibly one of the most laid back dogs around.  His personality is just wonderful.

However, he really likes being outside.  I would too, if I spent a year in a shelter.

The happy ending is that Snoopy (changed from Albert) is a jolly, happy, fun loving guy who loves being outdoors.

I really love happy endings.

My Daughter’s Cat Star

This is Star when she was a kitten.

My daughter read about Star and her siblings, who were thrown from a moving car.  She called the Charleston Animal Society, for whom she had worked as a volunteer and said  “I want that kitten as soon as she is better.”  Because the organization knew her, she got the little girl.

Star was the only survivor.

As you can see, she is living the life of Riley now.

I know all of you are sympathetic to animal causes, so I thought you would like to see another success story.

Catch you later
