My wife’s best friend, Carol, has a prayer request. Her husband, Danny, had a heart operation recently. Today, minutes after telling him “You’re good to go,” the doctor changed his tune: “I’m afraid I have bad news for you.” It was bad, all right: they messed up the operation and have to do it over. No joke: that’s a heart operation. And to have good news snatched away like that is hard to bear.
Carol and Danny need our prayers.
O Lord our God! All healing comes from you–even when the doctor makes an error. Have mercy on your servant, Carol, and her husband, Daddy: they are deep in need or your blessing and protection. Please, Father–put it right.
