The depressing news this morning is that a judge in Colorado has ruled that the Christian owners of a small bakery must obey homosexuals who demand that the bakery create a cake to celebrate a same-sex parody of marriage.
Is there anything a judge can’t tell us to do, anymore?
So here Christians must actively promote something which they believe is an abomination, thoroughly repugnant to their moral sense… because a judge says so.
I want to see what happens when a judge orders a Muslim restaurant to serve pork chops.
But for now, either you do something you are sure is a sin, because a judge says so, or you refuse to do it and you let them put you out of business, destroy your livelihood.
What can I say? Stand fast. The Bible warns us that we will suffer for Christ’s sake. I don’t want to suffer. I don’t know anyone who does. But somewhere along the line, we will all have to either stand or fall.
I say, let’s stand here.
So, what happens if they refuse. Off to jail while alll the wimps stand and watch prayerfully? We aare overwhelmed by slime.
Yes, Dave, we can’t count on support from that quarter. In flatline Protestant churches, sodomy is a virtue and “homophobia” is a sin. Unfortunately, lack of public support doesn’t let us off following God’s commandments.
And there is always Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego…
