Various people, whose opinions I don’t respect, tell me I’m “a bigot.” This is because I continue to hold the core beliefs I’ve held for my entire life, and have not changed over to brand-new beliefs sponsored by servants of Satan.
They are particularly offended by my belief that homosexuality is a grave sin. It angers them that my belief is based on the words of the Bible, when really my beliefs ought to be based on their words.
That the wrongfulness of homosexuality has been universally held to by the human race, for thousands of years, offends them. To them, all of humanity has been dead wrong since the beginning of time, and only set right in the last few years… by them.
I will not change until the Bible changes. They hate that.
To me, the most disturbing aspect of this debauched, immoral age of ours is the ease with which so many people discard their core beliefs and adopt new ones diametrically opposed to the old. What makes them do that? It looks like all Satan’s servants have to do is to repeat their message over and over again, as loud as they can, and, presto–it becomes a widely held opinion, even among people old enough to know better.
You’d think, with all this going for them, Satan’s servants wouldn’t even notice a nobody like me–let alone bother to pour out their wrath on him.
But, see, if they let us nobodies get away with remaining steadfast in our loyalty to God’s Word, there’s no telling what we might get up to next. We might pooh-pooh Global Warming! We might question the government’s right to tax us any which way they please.
Nobodies of the world, unite!
The bad guys are afraid of us. I don’t know why, but they really are afraid of us.
Usually those crying “bigot” are themselves the originals, for this reason— defined-brief definition from a good old dictionary “intolerant of other views.” So there, look in the mirror, ad hominem master. ’nuff said???
‘Nuff indeed.
You cannot dispute anything with a liberal without him calling you names.
Reblogged this on Ezekiel Countdown and commented:
Indeed, demons who indwell the servants of Satan (particularly those fools in occupying many pulpits) are terrified of us for the LORD resides within us. Despite their having deceived the unsaved masses to the contrary, demons know full well their end is eternal in the lake of fire. As a fellow nobodie, I’m glad to unite with you, to continue heralding the truth however un-PC; although, I do so enjoy how they get all flustered and bewildered that not everyone is as intolerant, narrow minded and bigoted as themeselves.

For people whose main line of argumentation is to call names and make threats, they are surprisingly thin-skinned.
I just heard you on the radio for the first time the other day, down here in Georgia. I loved what you had to say, especially the bit about people thinking your fictional scriptures are real says more about their knowledge of the bible than it does you. I have, since I was 13, had an imagination of God creating another world and people. I’m excited to order the first book in your series.
So here I am reading your blog for the first time and I still love what you have to say. People hate the truth because people hate God. They hate those of us who confidently proclaim the truth and the Word. I am hated and misunderstood daily but that’s ok with me, I just keep on keeping on. It does get lonely and discouraging sometimes, which is indeed the reason to unite!
Thank you, Khrystle–you’ve cheered me up. Please let me know how you like my books.
Dr. Page Patterson recently said to me, in an interview, that the problem with Christianity in America is that it had gotten too easy to be a Christian.
I’m afraid we aren’t going to have to worry about that anymore.
Things have gotten so much worse since you wrote this article, Lee. If being a Christian, following God’s law as best as one can, is a bigot, then count me in.
Here’s an example of just how much worse the depravity has gotten:

Warning: the photos contained in the article may be offensive, and the 30-second video surely is – and in front of a very young girl!
Judgment from a righteous God has befallen entire nations for actions such as these. America can expect no less.
If it’s possible to get more evil than this, I don’t want to know it.
It strikes me that the far Left has developed a blindness to their own bigotry. They actually want segregation against Caucasian students in some colleges. Somehow this is alright in their view, but holding ANY opinion that differs with theirs is taken as evidence of bigotry.
I could not care less when I am called bigot, Bible thumper, prejudiced, ad nauseum. I do not care what messed up human beings call me. I only care what my Lord thinks of me.
Amen!
Years ago, a fellow I knew got a letter directly from the headquarters of the denomination he attended. He was excited that they actually knew his address. My reaction, which was sort of like dumping a bucket of ice water on him, was that as long as God knew my address, that was all that mattered to me. 🙂
Those who worship God are filled with the Holy Spirit. Those who worship are filled with fear – it comes with his territory.
I guess if the Apostle Paul considered himself as a nobody, then it is okay for us to be nobodies. In Philippians 2:5-7 Jesus “made Himself nothing.” The religious leaders said he had a demon.
