100,000 Views Today?

It’s possible that today the total number of views of this blog, since its inception, will hit 100,000. Not being social media savvy, I can’t tell you what that means. How many blogs go under before they get anywhere near 100,000 hits? How many have passed me like I was standing still? I just don’t know.

Anyhow, as of today I’ve already got as many hits this year as I did for all of 2013, and in another month or two I’ll pass my total for 2014–with half a year left to go.

And so, thanks to you, the readers, this blog grows and continues to grow. If it might someday spur sales of my Bell Mountain books, that would be cause for rejoicing.

Meanwhile, if there is more of something–or less of something–that you’d like to see on this blog, I’d be interested to read your comments.

And remember–you can always request a hymn.

  1. I think the mix of things you post are fine. I wouldn’t change anything. I enjoy your views, the writing style, and love the music and cute animal videos. You must be doing things right if you are getting that many hits, eh?

  2. Keep on doing what you’re doing !! I enjoy your posts….that’s why I’m here. Your News With Views posts are excellent but I suppose you have to write a certain number of words there. You mentioned once that you were considering leaving NWV ? I hope not. You’re one of my favorites.

    1. I’ll stick it out a little longer. Thing is, it’s hard to do this much writing. And soon I’ll be starting work on a new book. So I don’t know how much oomph I’ll on tap.

    2. I’m with Joyce, Lee. We’ll pray for your strength. I’ve been enjoying your NewsWithViews articles for a long time. In fact, it’s where I first discovered you, and I’m sure I’m not alone.

  3. Another note: although I read your NWV articles, I never paid attention to your Bell Mountain series mentioned there. It wasn’t until I clicked on your blog site from the NWV articles that I discovered your books. Hence, NWV is the place from where people find you – and your books! Just a thought 🙂
