This joyful and triumphant hymn is so tied in with what I’m writing now, in my new book, The Silver Trumpet, that I couldn’t possibly resist it, when I accidentally discovered it.

I haven’t heard this hymn since I was a kid .. they always sang it at the country church “tent revival meetings.” These revivals were always held in mid-summer with heat, humidity and mosquitoes.
