Sometimes it can be a great disadvantage not to have hands, even for a cat. As clever as they are, there are things that a cat just can’t do.
See, cats–see! You still need us humans to open cans for you! Who said we aren’t good for anything?

how frustrating. I know how it feels. Since my fingers are twisted now, and have painful knots, I had to buy an electric opener.
Incredibly smart, but unable to open cans. Of course with my cat, that’s not an issue. She is strictly a dry food eater. Her departed, and much missed, partner in feline crime ate only canned food.
