Cats & the Art of Sleep

My turtle would sometimes fall asleep in a posture that made me fear he’d died. But cats are much more flexible, and have turned sleep into an art form. Here you will see several creative ways to fall asleep. You never know what might come in handy someday.

I was also the owner-operator of my own small business for several years. I wrote various novels and short stories published during 1980s and 1990s.     Nothing sleeps quite the way a cat sleeps.

    Years ago, I had a pet snake that I was certain had died. I couldn’t rouse it and it seemed stiff. I decided to wait a while before I removed her from her cage and all of a sudden she woke up and started to move.

    These little ones are just so cute, I can’t pick a favorite, but a few of them reminded me of Michael – restless leg syndrome 🙂
