Feel the Love, Baby

Hours after the most catastrophic mass shooting in American history, a CBS “legal executive” had this to say on her Facebook page–since deleted, but not before a lot of people wrote it down:

“I’m actually not even sympathetic bc country music fans often are Republican gun toters” (http://www.businessinsider.com/cbs-exec-hayley-geftman-gold-fired-las-vegas-victims-remarks-2017-10).

Feel the love.

She has been fired. The public kind of demanded it.

Look, this is what liberals think, this is who they are. They hate you. They despise whatever is precious to you. CBS management has to be a bit more subtle about it than this employee was–but what do you think you’d hear if you could sit down for a latte or two in the CBS executives’ lounge?

These people cannot be appeased.

With God’s help, they must be defeated.

  1. Look on the bright side: At least they took action against her instead of insisting that the people who complained had no sense of humor and were persecuting her. The network higher-ups were probably more concerned about ratings and revenue than about common decency — especially after the recent tanking of NFL and Emmy ratings — but at least they suddenly noticed that there were lots of people out there who found that kind of talk offensive enough to cut off the money supply.

And yes, I’m sure they agree with her and, as you say, trash the rest of us in the executives’ lounge. They may even be planning to hire her back into a less visible position until the dust settles. But it’s a start, it’s a start.

  2. Ice water runs through the veins of the hard Left. While the Las Vegas shooting victims were still being attended to that next morning, Hillary Clinton was tweeting about her hatred for the 2nd Amendment. As her mentor, Saul Alinsky taught her, “Never let a crisis go to waste.”

    1. It’s no longer “The lunatics are running the asylum.” Now it’s more like “The asylum is running the country.”
