The Owl and the Pussycat

This little video of an owl and a kitten supposedly making friends became “an Internet sensation,” so they say. But is that really what they’re doing? To me it looks like the cat is really bugging the owl. Still, they had to get that nursery rhyme from somewhere…

At times, the little owl seems a bit disgruntled, but they are so nearly the same size and probably age, there is nothing much to be done but tolerate.

They’re adorable! – and they both seem to instinctively know just how rough they can be without hurting each other. More of God’s wonderful stuff 🙂

The kitten is definitely thinking that the owl is just a strange looking kitten, and playing accordingly. Except for when the kitten took over that owl’s little house, most of it struck me as mutual companionship.

The moving thing is seeing two of God’s creatures enjoying one another’s company, even though they are much different from one another.
