For the first ten days of December this blog was cruising along toward its first 7,000-hit month ever; and then, these last two days, all the air went out of the tires.
Who can figure out the reason for hot and cold streaks? See, if we could, then we could do stuff on purpose to stay hot and avoid whatever makes us go cold. But for the life of me I can’t identify what I was doing to get lots and lots of views, and then not so many views. I think I’ve been doing the same things all along. But it’s obvious I don’t know what I’m talking about!
How to get the momentum going again?
Something tells me that if I really knew that, I would soon become the richest man on earth.
One thing I’ve learned is that in December, they start rolling up the sidewalks by mid-month and less and less happens until after New Years Day. I usually take some vacation ’bout now, in part because I can’t even get my phone calls returned by mid-December.
This time of year, families are busy with get-togethers, including with those who are visiting from out-of-town (as in my case 🙂 ) Now I’m zipping through my emails trying to catch up. It’s exhausting! lol
Here we don’t dare miss a day of clearing the emails!
I noticed there aren’t as many cute animal videos. {:-)
I usually visit from newswithviews which is in the daily page visit rotation.
Well, I do make a point of posting at least one cute animal video every evening.
The French say “Fashion rules the world.” Google & Yahoo pages have a “What’s trending now” section, but the trouble with it it’s mostly fake news.
