Vanity Fair Apologizes to Hillary

She’s still the Queen of Corruption

Now it’s Vanity Fair’s turn to grovel–a lot of groveling in the news today–and “apologize” for airing a humorous video about that living icon of feminism, Hillary Clinton (http://talkingpointsmemo.com/news/vanity-fair-apologizes-video-mocking-clinton).

Yeah, once upon a time, they put her on a pedestal. Now the magazine is getting f-bombed by liberals for suggesting that Hillary “take up knitting” or some other hobby: “anything that would keep you from running again” for president.

Movie stars and other leftids piled onto Vanity Fair, comments laced with profanity, accusations of sexism and misogyny, the usual stuff. So the editors admitted they “missed the mark,” trying to be funny, and they’re very, very sorry for it.

Don’t they know they’re only allowed to mock Republicans? Get with it, gals.

Why does the image of Hillary Clinton knitting evoke memories of Madame DeFarge in A Tale of Two Cities?

  1. Earlier today, I was sent an email about the Clinton Foundation, allegedly based on the the National Center for Charitable Statistics web site for the 2014 tax year. According to this, the Clinton Foundation gave out $5,160,385.00 but had expenses of:
    Salaries (line 15) $34,838,106.00
Fund raising fees (line 16a) $850,803.00
    Other expenses (line 17) $50,431,851.00
    Travel $8,000,000.00
    Meetings $12,000,000.00
    Net assets/fund balances (line 22) $332,471,349.00

I think that the next time I submit an expense report I’ll toss in 50 mil’ or so for “other” without explanation. No one would question something like that. Of course having 486 employees making roughly $70 k each is entirely reasonable. You can’t expect any employee to give out more than $10,000 per year. 🙂

    1. So they gave out $5 million and kept $330 million. I wonder if the Salvation Army does the same. Unless my math is wrong, that works about to about 1.5%. That’s 1.5% more than Scrooge used to dole out to charity.

  2. One recent “poll” showed Hillary Clinton as the world’s most admired woman – please pass the barf bag. This would be a good reason for Jeff Sessions to have an independent prosecutor investigate Hillary’s crimes and put her in cuffs so the “world” will wake up from its delusions about the Clinton’s.
