It is hard to get better than J.S. Bach. I identify with him in that he was a Lutheran who liked Calvinism. Another great hymn is “My Song Is Love Unknown” written by Samuel Crossman (great last name) in 1664. It is sung to the melody composed by John Ireland in the early 20th century.
