Norwegian Hymn: ‘Jeg Ser De Sote Lam’

A reader from Norway, “Count Wedgemore,” showed up on my Playground Player chess page yesterday, and I wanted to find a Norwegian hymn to post for him.

This one translates as I See You, Sweet Lamb, and this violin rendition is so beautiful that I just had to go with it, even without the lyrics.

Bjorn, my friend, I hope you like it.

  1. Lovely, soothing music. Here is a suggestion or two if you need more. Dallas Holm “I’ve Never Seen the Righteous Forsaken” or “In the Presence of Jehovah” by Terry MacAlmon.
