By Request, ‘Spirit of God Descend Upon My Heart’

I love the way the Joslin Choral Society sings a hymn, so when Susan asked for this one–Spirit of God Descend Upon My Heart, a good old 19th century classic–this was the version I chose. I didn’t recognize the hymn by its title when Susan first mentioned it, but as soon as I heard the first few bars, I knew it for an old friend, after all.
