Ocasio-Cortez: Capitalism ‘Irredeemable’

Now be honest–do you really want her running the country?

It was a striking juxtaposition on the front page of the Drudge Report, Sunday night.

Up top, the lead story was the total loss of electric power in Caracas, the capital city of socialist hell-hole Venezuela.

A few inches below, first-year Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, self-proclaimed socialist and the new face of the Democrat Party, blasted capitalism as “irredeemable” (https://news.yahoo.com/ocasio-cortez-blasts-capitalism-irredeemable-013149145.html). That’s ’cause it equals “income inequality.” And Global Warming.

Yeah, Craze–but we’ve got electricity, and your socialist buddies don’t. That should tell you something.

Is it really necessary to remind anyone that “income equality” is a fantasy? Even in socialist countries where everyone is poor, the glorious leaders aren’t. You can bet your private jet on that.

  1. She also referred to the USA as “garbage.” She’s obviously not aware that in Venezuela citizens are picking through garbage to find something to eat. Good thing for them that in socialist countries no one collects the garbage.

  2. Let’s hope she’s not re-elected when her current run is over. I have that creepy feeling that if she continues on as a representative, she will injure this country in a big way.

    1. I think–and I pray it will be so–that she’d do serious damage to the Democrat Party: and what hurts them is good for America.

    2. You’re so right, Lee. But it saddens me that she is an example of the sort of person who is coming onto the field of life not only here in the USA but elsewhere: ill-informed, ignorant, and in-your-face about what he or she believes. They are not deep thinkers, either. They don’t think through things but get a little bit of education about something that interests them and then runs with it like some kind of authority about it.

  3. As the ruck of Caracas dwell in evening darkness, the high brow steakhouse/dance halls are lit up with lights via gas generators where people are eating expensive food, drinking expensive drinks, and dancing the night away. That my friends is socialism.
