Sorry this is so short, but it’s still one of the funniest animal videos I’ve ever seen. What went through that dog’s mind? And what did the cat think of it? Sometimes my cat Peep likes to chase herself up the stairs and around the bedroom, but that’s just playing make-believe.
Looks like one threatening paw swing from the cat totally panicked the dog,
and I’m sure the cat thought he got the drop on him that time.
It looks like the dog’s reaction puzzled him. It sure puzzled me.
Yeah, dogs do the darndest things. Neighbors across the road have 4 dogs that are inside a fenced area and every morning, they start about daylight and run madly all around the area constantly barking. Don’t know what that is all about.

I think you’re right about that, Lee. They were just having fun. However, many times I’ve seen a cat look at a dog as if it were an embarrassingly uncultured relative. 🙂
Lol! I have a dog who does this! 🙂 He suddenly gets so wound up and full of energy, he doesn’t know what to do with himself. So he runs in wide circles around the living room as fast as he can, bouncing off furniture and trying to grab our other dog’s tail as he flies by. He wants to be chased. It’s really funny to watch for us. The other dog is rarely amused.
