The freaks parading around for the Met Gala can’t possibly represent America. A country full of goops like that wouldn’t last ten days.
So I wonder what this is for: what they’re trying to persuade us to think.
But I also ask myself, “Am I sure I want to know?”
Something tells me that their time in the sun will be short. I suspect that pop culture is losing support quickly. Who cares about these people? I know that I don’t, and I suspect that most people are like the owner of your local health food store, and will quit watching. It’s no fun being a freak when no one pays attention to you.
I haven’t written a post about “mermaiding” yet.
I agree that ignoring them is the best we can do. If no one reacts, they will wilt and die out.
