Much easier to avoid than Obamacare

Really bad TV and bad public policy have a lot in common.

Terrible TV… and Public Policy

Both are produced by highly-paid people who are supposed to know what they’re doing. Both cost heaps of money.

But there’s one important difference.

Bad TV gets canceled, but bad public policy goes on forever.

  1. More is the pity. It is a big fight every day to get around, get through, get some peace in spite of the mess.

  2. It would be nice if public policy at least had a dial..

Remember those on the front of the old television sets? We had one dial for VHF and another for UHF

When my parents moved to Houston from West Texas in the early 1970’s, I thought that i had landed in TV heaven. There was more than two VHF stations and, for the first time, I was able to find something on the UHF dial.

If I could have just a West Texas selection of channels within the health care realm, I think that I might be as giddy as when I first discovered the working UHF channels in Houston.
