The dumbest thing cats do–otherwise intelligent animals–is to get themselves stuck in plastic bags. I’ll never forget the night my poor Missy got herself involved with a plastic bag. I had a hard time catching her to take it off. She really was terrified; but some of the cats in these videos seem more like they’re playing.

boxes, bags, cabinets, kids’ toys. You name it, cats cannot resist.
My cat can’t get within 2′ of a plastic bag without getting her head stuck in one of the handles. It’s almost like fate.
I agree, some of those cats seemed to be having fun. I really like the big cat, near the end of the video, that had its head stuck in something and was just calmly walking around as if nothing was wrong.
I had a cat once who got caught on a plastic grocery bag that had a couple of empty cans in it. As soon as he moved, the cans rattled, and he flipped out. The more he ran, the louder the cans, which just flipped him out more. Ever try to catch a panicking cat? I finally cornered him and got the bag off. Plastic bags didn’t interest him so much after that. 🙂
